The New Jersey shore is home to some of the world's most beautiful beaches, and North Wildwood's beach is the best of the shore.

Surprisingly, it is also the only remaining free beach at the shore.

While other beaches in South Jersey have tended to erode from year to year, the North Wildwood beach remains wide and white. It is the widest at the shore. It's kept safe by lifeguards from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Wildwood's beaches were chosen #1 in the state for "Family Beaches" by the N.J. Star Ledger while also being chosen #1 for "Singles Beaches."

Because there are no fees for using the beach, there are no walls surrounding it, so you enjoy the visual beauty of the beach even when you're not on it.

Simply stated, North Wildwood's beach is the best.

A TERRIFIC TOWN

The Wildwood area is a wonderful family vacation spot, and North Wildwood is one of the nicest parts of the island.

In addition to its wonderful beach, the Boardwalk is two and a half miles of pure fun. It has three carnival piers, which include the tallest ferris wheel on the East coast. It has games of chance, places to eat and countless shops where you can buy unique items of all kinds.

The Wildwood area is also considered the home of "Doo-Wop" music, and a newly built Doo-Wop museum is among its many attractions.

There's always something to do in North Wildwood, but you can also head to Atlantic City for a night at the casinos; it's a 40 minute drive.

When it comes to vacation destinations, Wildwood is as fun and family-oriented as you'll find.
